Surrounded by 38 acres of natural forest, the cabin is truly tucked away from the rest of the world. It is tastefully decorated with bright, warm colors both inside and out, making vacationers feel as though they have entered a cozy getaway from the moment they see the front entrance. Visitors can go for a walk in the woods outside or sit with a cup of coffee on the upstairs balcony as the sun comes up, ready to embrace the day.
Inside, the many windows make the home feel bright and airy. The comfortable living area and attached kitchen maintain the warm decor of the outside, with tasteful blue and teal accents. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, including an oven, dishwasher, and microwave. The fireplace in the living room only completes the atmosphere.
This vacation home has three sleeping areas and two bathrooms, making it the perfect size for a family to visit. The ground floor bedroom is attached to a bathroom with a walk in shower, grab bar, and seat. There is also a window with black out blinds. A spiral staircase leads to the downstairs bedroom and bathroom suite, where the other bathroom includes a bathtub and separate shower. Finally, the upstairs loft is the perfect place for the kids or other guests to sleep, with beds that can be set up or combined to make either two or four sleeping places. Other amenities include a washer and dryer as well as towels and linens.
Unique Features
This house also contains a variety of tools to make it friendly for babies or small children, so you won’t have to worry about safety or convenience for any members of your family during your stay. These include a high chair, a booster, a pack and play and a baby gate. If you are bringing small children, the hosts can set these things up for you as needed.
Things To Do
Visitors to the area may want to stay on the extensive property during the full extent of their stay, but there are a variety of other options for entertainment, as well. The hosts themselves have a small farm where they raise chickens, ducks, and geese, and where they sell some products such as farm fresh eggs. The farm is a 10 minute drive from the vacation home, so visitors are welcome to visit.
In the broader area of Fletcher, North Carolina, there are a lot of options for entertainment! The Biltmore Estate perhaps needs no more description: The area’s most famous attraction, its sweeping, castle-like structure is an excellent place for a day trip or to attend an event. Those interested in historic buildings can also visit the home of Carl Sandburg, which is maintained by the National Park Service. Nature lovers can head to the North Carolina Arboretum for hiking, biking, or walking in the gardens.
Chimney Rock State Park or a drive down the Blue Ridge Parkway could also be perfect ways to spend the afternoon. Visitors can also head to the Flat Rock Playhouse, the state theater of North Carolina, to spend the evening enjoying an event. We hope you enjoy your stay and look forward to seeing you here!

Reviews
This is a terrific house in a secluded setting, surrounded by woods. The house is very new – you can smell the fresh wood! – and is extremely well equipped. The owners live close by and are very responsive if there is any issues that come up. Strongly recommended! Joel
This is a great space for a small group of people. We were cozy and enjoyed the views and gaming space offered. The drive up is a bit bendy, and it was muddy in the mornings. My all wheel drive SUV and my friend's Sedan made it up fine though :). Private area and well secured. Perfect weekend getaway spot :) Chelsey
Jofre and Saskias place was beyond awesome.!!! Great amenities!! A huge coziness factor. It was away from the bustle of Asheville but close enough to drive in for a great meal or to go to the Biltmore. We loved it. The craftsmanship of the cottage was fantastic and it was so well appointed. We will be staying there again! Susan
Lovely space, fantastic location and property. We had a great weekend! They were super accessible for questions and very easy to communicate with. Allyssa
This cabin was perfect! It was beautiful and could not have been cleaner! Carolyn
Everything we wanted and more for our honeymoon! We had a wonderful stay. Jofre & Saskia’s were great hosts and made our stay even better with their sweet personal touches. We couldn’t have asked for a better time! Alana
The cabin was perfect for us! It was exactly as they described it, but the pictures don't even do it justice. The cabin was clean, the area was beautiful and private, and it was an easy drive into town. Jofre and Saskia went above and beyond to provide us with amenities to make it feel like a home away from home. 5/5 would rent again. Colin
The cabin was gorgeous. Beautiful and peaceful setting--outside of the city, but not a long drive to get places (20 minutes). Everything was clean and the fresh eggs were delicious! I loved that there was so many personal touches. The handmade soaps and multiple coffee makers were great! I was slightly intimidated by the driveway when we first arrived, but we quickly got used to it. Our dog also loved the area and all the new smells. Our toddlers loved climbing up and down the stairs, and the baby gate at the top of the stairs was wonderful. Overall, amazing place and wonderful price--highly recommend! Laura
