This cozy, comfy cabin will have visitors feeling relaxed and ready to take on a day of fun adventures in the shady mountains of North Carolina. We truly believe that the visitors who come and visit us here will leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated when they return to wherever they came from. Sit on the lovely front porch surrounded by foliage while enjoying a steaming hot cup of coffee in the morning, then head inside to wood-paneled walls and tasteful decor.
The living room has comfortable seating, high ceilings, and a stone-surround gas fireplace. Take advantage of the WiFi to keep your Instagram updated with tasteful photos from your trip, or to enjoy a relaxing evening streaming a movie on your device. You could also watch something on the large, flat-screen TV that is situated just above the fireplace. There is also a kitchen that includes an oven and stove, refrigerator, freezer, and dishwasher.
The vacation home has one bedroom with a queen-sized bed as well as one with two twins. The sofa is also a hide-a-bed, so there is extra versatility with who sleeps where. There is also a bathroom that includes double sinks, a tub, and a shower.
The outdoor decor and amenities in this vacation home are part of what makes it so great! Cook some steaks on the outdoor grill as you enjoy a relaxing time. Or, alternately, sit on one of the rocking chairs out back for a throwback to the past. With nearby hiking trails and beautiful greenery, you will have plenty of ways to spend your outdoor time in and around the property.
Visitors to Nantahala, North Carolina can expect to spend their time in a plethora of ways, especially if they are interested in rugged scenery and spending time in the great outdoors! Whether you want to go fishing, whitewater rafting, or swimming around the area, you can participate in all kinds of watery adventures in the summer months; the kids especially will love being able to cook a fresh-caught meal on the stove back home!
Bird watchers, photographers, and hikers should check out one of the many wonderful hiking trails that the area is known for. Head to Great Smoky Mountains National Park in order to experience trails that are made for all difficulty levels, whether you want a leisurely stroll or a blood-pumping challenge. Alternatively, head to Joyce Kilmer Forest for some more natural beauty.
For dinner, we recommend Lake’s End Grill for hearty fare: Have some burgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders, or a salad for a standard American meal. Alternatively, head to Happy Trout Brewing Company for pizza and drinks. Or, go to Cups and Cones Cafe for a small pick me up during the day. Regardless of what you eat or how you choose to spend your time, we think you will really enjoy being in Nantahala!

It's the most beautiful area of the country I have ever been to, and I have traveled all over. The cabin is homey, and warm. Beautifully decorated in rustic furniture. You do not have to travel but 10 minutes to be next to the river which will take your breath away. Jim and Peggy went above and beyond providing information of everything close by. Our week-long stay in the dogwood breeze has been amazing! The sound of the river with my morning coffee has been the best way to wake up! The cabin is beautiful and accommodating. Highly recommend the stay. It is sooooo worth it! Rhonda Brown
The Dogwood cabin was absolutely wonderful! It was so clean and well kept. The interior was beautiful and it was even decorated for Christmas when we arrived! It wasn't too far from other areas and attractions we wanted to visit. This was our first time in the Great Smokies and we will definitely be back. Mary Faison
Awesome experience, we really enjoyed our stay at The Cabins at Long Branch. Everything was just as described on the website, and even better when you see it with your own eyes.
The only problem is that we could not stay any longer. Kay Roll
Great, peaceful place to stay to kick your heels up forget technology and just become one with nature. Or close enough to stay connected and just have some down time away from the rat race we call life!! Can BBQ dinner, cook in conventional kitchen with all you left at home or you can find dinning pretty close by, depending on what you have in mind. Love these cabins wish I could go 3 or 4 times a year because all the seasons have their own beauty from this back porch! Beau-Betty Smith
