Welcome to The Farmhouse at Rosa Lee Manor in Pilot Mountain, NC—a place where history and charm meet modern comfort. Originally built in 1905, this beautifully restored farmhouse offers more than just a place to stay; it’s a piece of local heritage, now available for overnight stays and intimate elopements. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or a unique wedding venue, The Farmhouse delivers an experience rich in character and story.
Steeped in history, The Farmhouse began as a tenant house for families working on the farm. During the Depression era, it transitioned into a honeymoon cottage for newlyweds starting their lives together. This home has seen many firsts—first dances, first babies, and first steps of new families. Over time, it became a lively gathering place for square dances and Appalachian flat footing, before serving a new role as a tobacco packhouse in the 60s and 70s.
Today, The Farmhouse stands as a testament to its past, with restored touches that blend history with comfort. We’re excited to offer overnight accommodations that can host 2 to 4 guests—perfect for couples, small families, or anyone seeking a quiet getaway. Pets are welcome too, making it a perfect escape for your whole family.
For those dreaming of a small, intimate wedding, Rosa Lee Manor’s Carriage House is the ideal venue. This stunning 3,000-square-foot on-site space is framed by oversized barn doors and draped in soft lights under 20-foot-high ceilings, creating a magical atmosphere for up to 150 guests. Whether you choose to say your vows indoors or in one of our lovely outdoor settings, the Carriage House stands ready as your backup ceremony location in case of rain—fully heated and cooled for comfort in any season.
The Main House at Rosa Lee Manor adds a touch of elegance with its spacious dressing areas for the bridal party and a cozy man cave for the groomsmen. We also offer overnight accommodations for up to 12 guests in the Main House, making it easy for your loved ones to stay close by for the special occasion.

Meet your hosts, Bill & Cyndee Duprey. As nature lovers, we’ve created a space that stays true to the land and its wildlife. While you won’t encounter (or smell!) our livestock—cattle and horses—you might be lucky enough to spot herds of deer, wild turkeys, or even a black bear. The property is alive with birds, and our gardens are carefully designed to attract butterflies, creating a peaceful, natural atmosphere.
For us, it’s all about keeping the environment pure and simple. Our water features aren’t just pretty backdrops for your photos; they add soothing sounds of fountains and flowing water, blending beautifully with the nighttime chorus of chirping frogs and hooting owls. We’ve intentionally avoided commercializing the property—no paved parking lots or harsh floodlights here. Instead, you’ll find winding roads, glowing twinkle lights, and flickering torches, adding a touch of romance and magic to every visit, whether you're here for a quiet getaway or a special event.
